Tailor

I pour my blood, sweat and tears so colour may flow out of my fingers and stain your world in brilliant hues.

This is one of the many small-time tailors employed by the minor garment businesses tucked away in a local fabric market. He’s indistinguishable from the tens of others packed into the crowded building. But the garments that this place churn out are a veritable feast for the eyes.

I think it gives you an instant, intimate slice-of-life feel that the more advanced DSLR cameras don’t. And yes, I’m an everyperson, the average Mumbaiker on the street and my photographs reflect what I see.
