I pour my blood, sweat and tears so colour may flow out of my fingers and stain your world in brilliant hues.
This is one of the many small-time tailors employed by the minor garment businesses tucked away in a local fabric market. He’s indistinguishable from the tens of others packed into the crowded building. But the garments that this place churn out are a veritable feast for the eyes.

Same with me- there were days I just went walking around the streets or looking out of buses/trains/cabs/minicabs taking photos of anything I can see. We live in a target-rich country.
@Arjun Mohan: I imagine most places would be like that. I look for stories, not for pictures. And stories abound, where people are.
Where is this shop? I found your blog through Tumblr. I notice you enjoy taking random photographs- all from a phone camera? That’s the most portable unit we can use- can’t imagine using a DSLR daily!
@Arjun Mohan: This is Manish Market in Andheri West, Mumbai. Yes, I love mobile phone photography. I think it gives you an instant, intimate slice-of-life feel that the more advanced DSLR cameras don’t. And yes, I’m an everyperson, the average Mumbaiker on the street and my photographs reflect what I see.
