More than half the year has gone by
I’ve lived a quarter of a century
And what have I to show for it?
A milestone or more?
~ Ate reluctantly

~~~ Studied resentfully
~~~~ Prayed fearfully
~~~~~ Slept badly
~~~~~~ Worried incessantly
~~~~~~~ Thought belligerently
~~~~~~~~ Rebelled painfully
~~~~~~~~~ Admired secretly
~~~~~~~~~~ Touched tentatively
~~~~~~~~~~~ Rushed blindly
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Believed naively
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Obsessed wildly
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Acted impulsively
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Loved passionately
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Clutched possessively
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hurt bitterly
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cried unabashedly
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Regretted sorrowfully

Survived and still standing…… and preparing to soar again.
This is so true…
When we look at each day nothing seems to change, but when we look back from a distance in time everything seems to have changed.
