  1. He hadn’t said anything wrong. How do you tell someone that they had never said anything right in the first place? How do you explain that after three years? And how do you erase the memory of your own wrong choices?

    That someone you’ve never met could put down in words exactly what you’re thinking – that’s good writing.

      @anand: And maybe she wasn’t strong enough for that honesty. But some would say it took strength to make a decision instead of struggling along for the rest of both their lives. Such is the complex nature of a relationship with two people’s motivations, perspectives and conflicting desires.
