Memoirs Of A Story-teller
I saw a tag floating around and decided to write my own memoirs in 6 words:
I strove for individuality, then acceptance.

Someday I will have an office like this: A big desk made of the light-coloured wood…no clue what its called. A little pot of flowers…no, not cut out of bouquets by housekeeping, but grown and tended to by me. Big yellow flowers…zarberas or African daisies I think they’re called. And…
I tried limericking. I didn’t follow syllable count rules. Saying something in 5 lines in rhyme and being funny was challenge enough.
A glass of lemonade and a whole relationship dynamic in one swallow. It’s all ice shards and acid.
I was an angry girl of the Indian rock persuasion in a saree.
Aphrodite met me. What did she teach me about love or myself?
I’m battling ennui on Novelrace. I’ve labored over the novel from so many angles, I’m tired of it. I know the story so I wonder where’s the fun in retelling it?
@ Ashish: Sometimes I doubt that.
@ shub, blankspaces, chandni: 🙂
@ {illyria}: But sometimes it is so difficult to live with!
@ rahul: There’s a lifetime between ‘should’ and ‘does’.
@ Cynic: Some things are really better written about than experienced; wouldn’t you agree?
@ Brad: That’s why you are my AE! That was six words too, so there! And this last one too, what say? Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
All three comments have six words.
OK. I am being a smartass. 😈 😛

I believe you are strong enough not to give up individuality and try
“blending in” 🙂
@ Ashish: And then want to blend in..*sigh*
@ Rambler: Is it? I don’t know. I’m too young to write my memoirs!
@ chennairamblings: Precisely. 🙄
It’s ironic, isn’t it?
We somehow sacrifice individuality for acceptance, all the time.
chennairamblings’s last blog post..For the ?king of kings?
I think best thing about any memoir is “striving”..It never ends, does it?
That is what makes one stand out of the crowd! 😎
