  1. Smile I will, for life is short,
But to see back is not ill,
At times to want it, is not wrong.
Us does not make me sad,
    Warmth mostly, lonely at times.

True to emotions, is not feeling low.
It is being me, honest to self.
I was so then, as am I now.
    Varied views at different times,
So what! I live to just live, till the end.

  3. Just us, as us, for sometime, for each other
    It’s a past gone by
    Time that flies
    Was great when it was
    As it was

The cycle of life leads you on
To places galore and unknown of
Take each day in its stride
    Something will come by
    And you will smile

  4. You were not alone, and I wasn’t either,
But it couldn’t have been lonelier!
Stepped in my shoes, seeing through my eyes,
Yet still a stranger, across the oceans.
    Being my kin is happiness,
But not being mine is despair.

    Am I wanting too much,
Or is another walk just fine,
    No tears, no blood.
Just a few steps, in each others shoes.
Laughs, whispers, smiles, a few needful,
Just us, as us, for sometime, for each other.
