Coming to work on Monday morning is depressing
Coming to work on Monday after a three-day weekend is doubly depressing
Coming to work on Monday after a three-day weekend knowing you’ll have to work next weekend is most depressing of all.

Don’t even tell me about next month’s schedule…I can’t afford any more depression!

  1. We have soo many public holidays, but I cannot help wishing for more. Maybe I am lazy :-$

I skipped work on Monday and had a 4-day weekend, it was too good!!

  2. I love my job (no, really!) and yet, there are mondays when I just want to laze around, cook a nice breakfast and go late to office (and I do)… I think its a question of loving your job to the exclusion of everything else. And that, I cannot. I need stimulation from elsewhere too – I read books, I read blogs, I take photos, watch the sunrise, drive around, build, talk, argue, fight. Sometimes one of these becomes more important than the work. Can you ever love one of your children more than the others?!

naah.. not really, Work is often my refuge from depression. Maybe that is sadder still!
