  2. I couldn’t agree more. This year I didn’t go to see a single ganpathi & didn’t miss it. Till we reached the finals I didn’t know the world cup was on. yes ppl like me do exist 🙂 And yet watching the visarjan on TV last night- (India TV has this fervent ganesh devotee reporting) and reading the papers about the dream 11 & Dhoni & his boys- I too had a manic grin on my face. Theres something about this city & the way it feels and how contagious that can be. Im glad Im not immune 🙂

  3. These are the moments that give us reason to live. Just yesterday 3-4 year old toddler (a perfect stranger in mob) came and shook my hands by saying “we won”. Some moments are hard to re-live.
